Research

My research focuses on designing real-time interactive and generative systems — sometimes using machine learning, from symbolic AI to deep sub-symbolic neural networks, and other times using code as a live interface between people and algorithms. I create music, craft voices and sounds, and build robots that can interact with each other; and yet other times I reflect on the social and cultural implications of technology.
